Sugar Coated Yema Balls

Yema, a Filipino custard or caramelized candy made of egg yolks and milk. Traditionally, or at least on how I remember, it is in triangular in shape packed in colorful cellophane wrap. The coating on on the outside is usually crispy or hard shell while the inside is a soft chewy sweet milky and some even add nuts.

My sister then suggested to make one and I remember making one of these in elementary and sold the packs to my neighbors.
