Homemade Bread

My aunt used to run a bakeshop and cafeteria at the corner of a busy street in our town. I remember looking after the shop during summer vacation and would occasionally play with the dough with Mang June, the baker.

After a few years, I am finally able to bake bread! It feels great learning something new and felt like I gained +1 level up for baking a bread!

 How to Bake a Bread

Ingredients:
Flour, Yeast, Sugar, Salt
Milk and Vanilla Extract

I followed the YouTube videos from the links below and learned the basics in making the dough. I used milk and a drop of vanilla as topping + sprinkled some flour as well.

I don't own any measuring cups (except the measuring cups from the rice cooker) nor those spoons so I had to use my instincts. Fresh from the oven, the crust was crispy and not easy to slice. The bread sure was heavy as well, so I figured that I can improve this even more. And it was all finished - we ate it! I guess I should have added more sugar and let it sit longer to make it more fluffier, what do you guys think?

Snickers Mars Honeycomb Vanilla - Udders

We were about to go home until I saw this fair going on at the mall. When I saw Udders Ice Cream and it was their last day at the fair, oh boy! It was a long time since I had a taste of their ice cream and can still remember the Chocolate Rhum.

Here's my Udders Ice Cream - Snickers Mars Honeycomb Vanilla

It's flavorful and can taste the sweet vanilla and luscious caramel with nuts, yummy!

Received my free Facebook Moo card

When I saw the news on the 6th of January 2012 about a free name card using your Facebook Timeline cover, I immediately signed up. I was like some kid trying to win the race for some candy - who doesn't want FREE stuff, right?!

Obviously, this is a first blog and would primarily contain anything that comes into my mind.

Going back to my topic...
I saw the news from my LinkedIn page, and it was discussed that MOO, who just loves to print so much, were giving away free name cards. I followed the instructions and was expecting to received it not until the 9th of February but they exceeded my expectations. It was delivered in just 2 weeks (international).

I was so excited opening it and gave it to my friends this morning. I took a picture of how it looks:

I was new to Facebook's Timeline back then and only had 3 covers. When I realized that I could add as many pictures as I wanted, it was too late as the order has been completed. I even sent an e-mail to Moo's customer service team and received a prompt reply.

The card is durable and not flimsy like conventional name cards I've been receiving. Impressive print as it doesn't absorb moisture like other cheap name cards (besides, Moo is not your usual prints) nor would leave any fingerprints on the design or images. Surely, any of your clients using this will be amazed!

I am not doing this on behalf of Moo. I am just sharing my thoughts as I've always believed that good things should be shared to all.

As soon as I have used all my name cards, I'll definitely order again! Thanks Moo, keep it up!
